Veterans Aid & Attendance Pension Benefit

Veterans Affairs offers an Aid and Attendance Pension Benefit to qualified veterans and their spouses or widows who need assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, moving to and from bed or chair, eating, and caring for incontinence.) This pension can be applied at assisted living residence, skilled nursing facilities and to qualified home-care circumstances.

Benefits:

  • A single veteran is eligible for up to $1,703 per month.
  • Surviving Spouse is eligible for up to $1,094 per month.
  • Veteran & Spouse are eligible for up to $2,019 per month.
